I know a guy who worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert right to the end, when the Government closed out the final settlements. He was one of the top guys who worked the actual numbers into accurate prospectus. To be able to do that job, through that mess, right to the very end, is incredible. He did get double pay because his end date was indefinite. The Government committee milked it as long as possible, too, because they like getting paid.

They're the ones who are leading us to climate change and the downfall of humanity, and they need to be held accountable. Corporations have known about the dangers of climate change for decades, but they've done nothing to stop it. Instead, they've continued to pollute the air and water, and they've lobbied governments to weaken environmental regulations. As a result, we're now seeing the devastating effects of climate change all around us. We're seeing more extreme weather events, like hurricanes, floods, and droughts. We're seeing rising sea levels, which are threatening coastal communities. And we're seeing the loss of biodiversity, as plants and animals are unable to adapt to the changing climate. Corrupt governments have also made the climate crisis worse. They've accepted bribes from corporations to allow them to pollute, and they've turned a blind eye to environmental crimes. As a result, we're seeing a global surge in deforestation, which is releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and contributing to climate change. We're also seeing the exploitation of natural resources, like oil and gas, which is further heating up the planet. The climate crisis is a real and present danger. It's not something that's going to happen in the future. It's happening right now. And it's only going to get worse if we don't take action. We need to hold corporations and corrupt governments accountable for their role in the climate crisis. We need to demand that they stop polluting the environment and start investing in renewable energy. We need to make sure that our governments are working to protect our planet, not destroying it.
